**Job Description:**
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for electrical and instrumentation (E&I) components in oil and gas projects.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for supplies, equipment, and services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements and timelines.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Resolve any procurement-related issues, such as delays, quality concerns, or discrepancies, in a timely and effective manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in procurement, specifically within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) components and systems.
- Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Prior experience working in Dubai or the UAE is preferred.
