Job Description: We are looking for a talented and experienced BIM/CAD Architectural Interior Designer Draftsman to join our team in the Dubai. The BIM/ CAD Architectural Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and managing CAD / Building Information Models (BIM) specifically for interior design projects, ensuring high-quality, detailed, and accurate 3D representations of design concepts.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for interior design projects using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the BIM model accurately represents design intent and project requirements.
• Create detailed drawings and documentation from the BIM model, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM tools to ensure model coordination and integration.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the modeling process.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and visualizations to communicate design concepts and project progress to clients and stakeholders.
• Update and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating design changes and revisions as necessary.
• Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM software and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices in BIM and interior design modeling.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM modeling for interior design projects. Min 3 yrs in GCC.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Excellent technical skills in 3D modeling, drawing production, and model coordination.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate BIM models and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with clash detection and resolution processes in BIM.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and standards is preferred.
