We have an open role for Position Title-Sales manager with a leading Hospitality Group in Bahrain.

Sales Manager in the hospitality industry is responsible for generating revenue by securing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing sales activities, and collaborating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales approaches.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention:
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company policies and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with the legal and finance teams to finalize contract terms and conditions.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposals:
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Tailor proposals to meet the specific needs and preferences of each client.
  • Revenue Management:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to maximize revenue.
  • Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory management.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract details.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and revenue forecasts for senior management.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Mentor and train junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent sales techniques and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
