The work schedule for this position is Full time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (6 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Responsible for timely and accurate payments of approximately one quarter of the 21,800 vouchers processed by Mission UAE annually. Voucher types range from vendor invoices and grants to employee reimbursement payments for 48USG agencies totally approximately $80 million. Responsible for ensuring proper payment and account reconciliation of assigned accounts including utilities, leases, recurring payments like (Etisalat, utilities, fuel, Gas, shipping courier…etc.) and Citibank credit card payments. Processes rejections and advance clearances and responds to Bangkok audit queries as required. Serves under guidance of the Supervisory Voucher Examiner. Serves as the administrative assistant for the Financial Management center (FMC) by generating letters, cables, Dip notes and administrative reports as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: Four years of progressive experience in payments or accounting and Value Added Tax refund procedures.
University degree in the fields of accounting, business administration, economics, finance, or management required.
LANGUAGE:
Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking is required.(This may be tested)
Good working knowledge in Arabic reading, writing and speaking is required.(This may be tested)
