Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Manager to oversee our procurement processes and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and vendor relations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of products.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Monitor transportation and distribution activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (including production, sales, and finance) to meet business objectives.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to product quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the veterinary or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in using supply chain software and tools.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team and drive process improvements.
