INTRODUCTION
- - SensorTec is a multinational security systems manufacturer established in 2000 specializing in manufacturing and developing custom innovative solutions for military, law enforcement, public authorities and private sectors.
- - SensorTec HQ and Factory: Cambridgeshire, UK. SensorTec UAE Office: Dubai, UAE.
- SensorTec KSA Office: Riyadh, KSA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- - Maintaining a deep understanding of SensorTec’s products, solutions and services.
- - Staying updated with the latest technological trends and advancements.
- - Responding to client’s inquiries and diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- - Conducting products and systems configuration, operation, testing and validation.
- - Conducting products and systems demonstrations to showcase features and capabilities.
- - Planning and managing the execution of POCs to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of the product andsystems in the client's environment.
- - Acting as the primary technical point of contact during the demo and POC phases.
- - Analyzing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- - Creating and maintaining technical documentation, user manuals and technical guides.
- - Developing technical materials and conducting technical training sessions for clients and internal staff.
- - Working closely with other teams such as sales, presales and development.
QUALIFICATIONS
- - BE (Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronics and Communications) with V.Good grade or 2.7 GPA.
- - Certifications in security systems, network administration, or other relevant areas.
- - Minimum 3-4 years proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer preferably within defenseand/or security industry.
- - Knowledge of various security systems and surveillance technologies and familiarity with IP-based systemsand digital security technologies.
- - Strong understanding of networking concepts, configuration and troubleshooting.
- - Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining security system hardware and software.
- - Familiarity with different types of cameras, sensors, and control panels.
- - Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a fluent English to assist clients and convey technicalinformation clearly.
- - Patience and empathy when dealing with clients’ issues.
- - Attention to small details and careful setup, configuration and maintenance of products and systems.
- - Experienced in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
- - Independence and self-reliance.
GENERAL INFORMATION- Work Location: SensorTec UAE: Office 701, Thuraya Tower 1, Dubai Internet City, Dubai-UAE. - Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- - Reporting to Technical Sales Manager.- Six months paid evaluation period.
