Job Role Description
- Candidate with sound technical background preferably with degree in Engineering or any related field and has experience in Aluminum Industry of the same position.
- The role is responsible in prepare portions of contract proposal estimates, including calculation of material quantity requirements, preparation of routine estimating data and production of drawings & documents.
- Receiving project inquiry, handling clarification, compiling documentation & collecting information. Reviewing and generating shop drawings/section details, preparing final position drawings & quantities.
- Estimation for the future projects and material estimation for the ongoing projects.
- Work with the Production team to fulfill the required material at workshop. Design, develop and evaluate engineering processes.
- Manage projects related to engineering estimations. Monitor production processes and associated costs.
- Analyze product requirements and develop cost estimates.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to determine the cost of components and services. Prepare detailed budget estimates for projects.
- Analyze engineering data to develop accurate cost estimates. Monitor and report on project progress.
- Review design options and recommend best solution, select and finalize the systems· Calculate material quantity requirements, utilize Estimation software and prepare material take-off.
- Submit company prequalification and Prepare reports for senior management.
- Prepare, finalize, submit quotations and obtain customer acceptance. Technical & Material submittals including Compliance statement, test certificates, sample boards etc.
- Work with the account department to identify cost savings and cost reduction opportunities.
