We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Lead Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with oil terminal projects, and will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of instrumentation design.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Instrumentation Design:**
- Lead the design and development of instrumentation systems for oil and gas projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
2. **Project Management:**
- Oversee the entire instrumentation design process from conceptual design through to detailed design and implementation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
3. **Technical Leadership:**
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
- Review and approve design deliverables, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment.
4. **Quality Assurance:**
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high-quality design outputs.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
5. **Client Coordination:**
- Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to clients.
6. **Vendor Coordination:**
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of instrumentation equipment and materials.
- Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in instrumentation design within the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive experience with oil terminal projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control systems, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in design software and tools used in instrumentation engineering.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Immediate availability is required.
