Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Temporary Recruiter to join our team for a 3-month period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hiring blue-collar workers and will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to meet the staffing needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Job Posting and Advertising:
- Create and post job advertisements on various platforms to attract blue-collar candidates.
- Utilize social media, job boards, and other channels to reach potential candidates.
Candidate Sourcing:- Proactively source and identify blue-collar candidates through various methods, including databases, job fairs, and community outreach.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates.
Screening and Shortlisting:- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for the position.
Interview Coordination:- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare candidates for interviews by providing information about the company and the role.
Selection and Hiring:- Assist in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
- Provide recommendations for hiring decisions.
- Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and contract preparation.
Onboarding Support:- Coordinate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports.
Candidate Experience:- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Communicate regularly with candidates to keep them informed about their application status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, specifically in hiring blue-collar workers.
- Strong understanding of blue-collar job roles and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-volume recruiting.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations.
- Previous experience in a temporary or contract recruiting role.
Working Conditions:
- This is a temporary 3-month position, could be converted to permanent based on performance.
- The role may require occasional travel for job fairs or community outreach events.
- Flexibility to work outside regular office hours if necessary.
