Job Role

We are looking for a skilled training senior supervisor to implement industry-leading training programs for our company. As a training senior supervisor, you will be required to assess current training and development systems, develop new training programs, implement measurement tools, and provide feedback for our Catering Operations . You may also be required to conduct research to identify specific staff training needs.

To be successful as a training supervisor, you should be proficient in training methodologies and demonstrate superior teamwork abilities. Ultimately, a top-class training supervisor is able to quickly assess the needs of the company and design specialized training programs to enhance productivity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the day to day running of Tadreeb(Training Department) in coordination with the venue set-up, training documents, training presentations upload and refreshments provided
  • In coordination with the Head of Training – compiles and prepares the department trainers database information and minutes of meeting.
  • Compiles information and updates the First Aiders database on certificate expiry and resignation.
  • In partnership with the Hygiene department assist to organise EFST training and ADFCA exams, database and monthly reports.
  • Maintaining Library and promotional activities.
  • Implements the cross training and cross-exposure process and prepares monthly reports and certificate of completion.
  • In coordination with the Senior Supervisor, prepares the monthly training report for Corporate Catering
  • Sources, manages and processes all training requisitions, payments, invoices, and inquiries with the Procurement and Finance department.
  • In coordination with the Head of Human Development, prepares training brochures and training handouts for specific programs.
  • In coordination with Human Capital, schedules for the orientation dates and follow-up programs for new colleagues.
  • In coordination with the Head of Human Development, prepares the monthly training calendar.
  • In coordination with the Head of Human Development, prepares the Training Needs Analysis forms, compiles and prepares a report.
  • Prepares and issues all training related certificates.
  • Manages and monitors the hotel internship program process.
  • Prepares, scans, changes and files all relevant documents for internal and external audit inspections.
  • Conducts specific modules during the hotel orientation program.
  • Prepares online quiz and activities to enhance training styles
  • In coordination within the department takes new employees on tour of the property and city tours.
  • Managing on job training in coordination with departmental trainers

Job Requirements

  • 02 years’ experience in Catering Operations
  • Bachelor's degree in field of expertise.
  • Certified Professional in training management is a plus.
  • Outstanding knowledge of learning theories and training methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for teaching and public speaking.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of staff learning and assessment protocol.
  • Friendly and approachable.
