Job Description: Technical Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee technical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with design intent, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including interpretation of drawings and specifications, resolving design conflicts, and implementing technical solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to technical standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and other technical documents.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Manage and resolve technical queries and issues promptly to support project timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate technical specifications and requirements for materials and equipment procurement.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Technical Manager or in a similar technical leadership role within the construction industry in the UAE.
- 8-12 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technical standards.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with local regulations and building codes in the UAE.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
- UAE driving license preferred.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the UAE as needed.
