Job Description
Position: Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction, with at least 5 years in quantity surveying and cost estimation for building, materials, and equipment
- Minimum 4 years' experience in the Middle East
- Technical and managerial background to meet reporting and documentation requirements
- Proficiency in 3D surveying methods, particularly Civil 3D, and familiarity with CSI standards and FIDIC contract conditions is advantageous
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Develop and maintain project budgets
- Monitor project costs and recommend cost-saving measures
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors on cost-related issues
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and contract terms
