- Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales options.
- Establish contact with prospects and develop relationships, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Maintain client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance, and suggest opportunities for profit and service improvements.
- Stay current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor actions to identify product improvements or new offerings.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Enforce organizational standards to maintain quality service.
- Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies to stay updated on professional and technical knowledge.
- Develop a portfolio of accounts through new business development.
- Manage the negotiation and close process with clients from start to finish.
- Oversee the sales process for new prospects, from initial contact through to closure.
- Address customer inquiries face-to-face, over the phone, or via email.
- Achieve revenue targets and objectives in line with the Area Business Plan.
- Work closely with the marketing team to produce necessary sales collateral for the target market.
- Report business trends and area performance to the Sales Manager.
- Develop and maintain successful business relationships with all prospects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in sales is preferred with a strong customer focus and prior experience with FMCG/Cosmetics & Fragrance markets in Kuwait and GCC
- A high level of urgency, accountability, and professionalism is required to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented team
- The ability and desire to build relationships quickly with clients, other sales team members, and cross-functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required
- Customer-centric focus and strong drive to achieve targets and goals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is preferred
- A passion for eco-friendly and ethical business practices
