Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Foreman cum Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership qualities along with proficiency in carpentry and joinery work. A valid driving license is required for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate joinery projects from start to finish.
- Manage a team of carpenters and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Perform skilled carpentry and joinery work including cutting, shaping, fitting, and assembling.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter and/or Joinery Foreman.
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Valid driving license.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Carpentry or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role.
