The University of Birmingham opened a campus in Dubai in December 2017, becoming the first global top 100 and Russell Group University to establish a campus in this rapidly developing international education hub. The Department of Management has a collegial culture, with approximately 100 faculty organised across four subject groups: Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation; Procurement and Operations Management; Organisation, Work and Employment; and Business Economics and Policy. The successful candidate will undertake research of international excellence and contribute to knowledge exchange activities relative to their discipline. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can join us as Associate Professor in ELI to take up the MBA Programme Director role in Dubai. It is highly desirable to have application from candidates with prior experience with programme management. The successful candidate will make significant contributions to the launch of our new MBA programme in Dubai in 2024, as well as to the research, leadership, learning and teaching, and business and community engagement strategy in the Department. Having prior experience with an accredited university or institution in the UAE or the Middle East would be beneficial.
