Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation activities, including trucking, air freight, sea freight, and rail shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client requirements.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and other third-party logistics providers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and shipments.
- Monitor and track the movement of goods from origin to destination, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to transportation, logistics, and supply chain management, providing prompt and effective solutions to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand, plan shipments, and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and contracts.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement in logistics operations, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare document SOP per customer.
- Arranging trucks for all movement.
- Payment of freight charges to drivers & Collection of bills.
- coordinate with operation team customer POC regarding deliver.
- Communicate with consignees & sending pre-alerts for delivery of shipments.
- Obtaining cost of transportation from different vendors for rates comparison & submitting the same to Department head.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi law, regulation and all requirement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the freight industry or related field.
· Strong understanding of transportation modes, international trade regulations, and logistics processes.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
· Minimum 3 years of UAE experience, preferably Abu Dhabi Emirate.
· Computer Literate
· Fluent in English, with proficiency in Urdu, Arabic considered a plus.
· Familiarity with the logistics landscape in the UAE and the broader Middle East region is desirable.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
