Job Description

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for joinery and fit out projects.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine materials, labor, and equipment required for each project.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and address any issues or concerns.
  • Obtain and evaluate subcontractor bids and quotes for various project components.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials and services.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project costs and progress to ensure adherence to budget and timeline.
  • Provide support and guidance to project teams throughout the estimating and bidding process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in order to provide accurate and informed estimates.
  • Continuously improve estimating processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
