JOB DESCRIPTION - ELV SALES ENGINEER
Required a tech-savvy Sales Engineer to assist with the selling of ELV & IoT Systems including information technological products or services. The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs.
Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for products and solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer base.
- Identify potential clients and opportunities in various industries where solutions can be applied.
- Prospect and qualify leads to generate a healthy sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain a database of potential clients and partners for future business development.
- Understand the client's business needs and pain points to propose appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical consultation and demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of the products.
- Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and partners in the ecosystem.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their evolving requirements and adapting solutions accordingly.
- Prepare comprehensive and customized proposals, including pricing, specifications, and technical details.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with the client's needs and requirements.
- Lead negotiations with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements, addressing any concerns or objections.
- Close deals and secure contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the IT domain.
- Provide feedback and insights from the market to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in the CRM system.
- Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing post-sales inquiries, issues, and support needs promptly and effectively.
- Seek feedback from clients to continuously improve the quality of service and solutions.
- Stay knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the products and solutions to effectively communicate their value.
- Provide training and guidance to sales teams, partners, and clients regarding solutions and their benefits.
Sales Engineer Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business admin, or related field.
- 10 to 12 years of experience in sales and technology field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.
