Job Description

Financial Record-Keeping:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for import and export transactions, including invoices, bills of lading, shipping documents, and customs declarations.

· Ensure proper categorization and documentation of expenses, revenues, and other financial activities related to agriculture import/export operations.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

· Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations for goods and services related to agriculture imports and exports.

· Manage accounts receivable processes, invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.

Inventory Management:

· Monitor and reconcile inventory levels for agricultural products involved in import/export operations, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.

· Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to reconcile inventory discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Financial Reporting:

· Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of agriculture import/export activities.

· Generate ad-hoc financial reports as required by management or regulatory authorities.

Tax Compliance and Reporting:

· Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements related to agriculture import/export transactions, including VAT, customs duties, and other taxes.

· Prepare and submit tax filings, declarations, and other regulatory reports accurately and on time.
