Ensure dewatering activities are in accordance with the plans and targets set by managing pump equipment, etc., man power pit service, including the dewatering sub-contractor, as well as coordinating the placement and operation of pumps and water management running safely, effectively and efficiently with due observance of these factors. work safety and environment
- Explain and conduct analysis for improvement and refinement of procedures, standards, IK and forms related to dewatering activities
- Recognize the scope of dewatering activities as well as the types, functions and parameters of equipment for dewatering work (Mine pump).
- Implement a control system and control dewatering activities according to work plans / targets
- Provide input to the Dept. PPnC in making Work Order (WO) for dewatering activities
- Develop the right program on an ongoing basis to solve problems in dewatering activities to support the achievement of production targets
- Analyze the selection of the type, capacity and number of dewatering equipment that is adjusted to changes in mine planning and progress
- Conduct a thorough evaluation of dewatering activities & establish good relationships with Mine Sub Contractors (dewatering vendors)
- Coordinates activities to all engineering personnel, Project Managers and outside consultants and/or contractors; develops engineering/ dewatering site action plans to guide timely and cost effective development of projects; maintains the system of budget and schedule control.
- Does engineering services for preparation and drafting of drawings, schematics, product specifications, bill of materials, operation/service manuals, assembly manuals and other documentation.
- Performs other engineering / site duties as requested.
Requirements:
- Engineer with preferably dewatering experience and/or background
- Written and spoken English essential
- Abilities to work in field environment with control of installation teams and running jobs
- Liaison with clients
- Full driving license essential
