We are creating a talent pool to hire highly-motivated Sales Development Representatives. You are a self-starter who will be able to qualify, validate, and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, conference and prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. You are a strong communicator who is persistent, effective at building relationships , and can work well without supervision. You will report to the Executive Director of Sales & Business Development.

You Will:
Become familiar with OPIS product portfolio
Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect
Qualify all inbound leads for the sales team
Create outreach strategies for new lead generation
Support and collaborate with sales colleagues on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads
Assist sales colleagues by responding to client support requests
Provide internal and external clients with assistance to help build and cultivate prospect relationships in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
Work in partnership with the marketing function to drive leads and online traffic with web-based activities and programs
You Have:
At least 1 to 3 years' experience in sales development and lead qualification
Knowledge and genuine interest in the fuel (preferred), energy, chemical, and renewables industries
Demonstrated success in uncovering business potential through pre-sales preparation work
Used LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred) or a similar prospecting application
Proficiency in CRM solutions (NetSuite and Salesforce preferred)
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications
Conducted effective presentations to clients of all levels and decision-making capacities
Written clear and concise sales reports
Ability to travel to conferences, exhibitions, trainings, and team meetings on a limited basis
University degree
