Job Title: Chief Technology Officer
RTYST is a pioneering mobile app dedicated to empowering emerging artists and industry professionals within the creative talent industry. Our mission is to democratize access to growth opportunities, providing a vibrant ecosystem where singers, rappers, dancers, and creative experts can connect, collaborate, and thrive.We have a cutting-edge technology stack and a mobile app already developed and deployed on both iOS and Android platforms.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology team and oversee the development and implementation of our technology strategy. The CTO will play a pivotal role in driving our company's technology vision, ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Lead and manage the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into the company’s technology roadmap.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company’s technology assets and data.
- Manage relationships with external technology partners and vendors.
- Drive the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in technology.
- Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Flutter.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a technology team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
