We required a Cost Estimator in local;
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Industry:
- Signage / Manufacturing / Fabrication
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- To calculate, evaluate, and estimate daily inquiries from the sales and project engineers.
- Cost to be calculated based on fit for purpose.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Communicate with other departments, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Meets targets and schedules for costing and project delivery.
- Analytical skills: you must be able to analyze project requirements to accurately estimate costs for each component.
- Critical thinking: critical thinking and solid decision-making skills are a must in this job.
- Time management skills: you should be able to do multiple tasks and provide cost estimates in a timely manner to help projects stay on time and on budget.
- Working out what a contract will cost to deliver while ensuring it returns a profit.
- Deal with the preparation, processing, and submission of bids to supply a sign or display.
- Put together project plans by calculating the costs required to meet the client’s technical specifications, taking into account the cost of materials, equipment hire, labor, and other requirements.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
