Role Overview:
• Generating and checking procedural well analyses to convey product benefits.
• Engineering designs, testing, or field demonstration of products.
• Communicating with customers or vendors to achieve internal or external demands.
• Support field activities including troubleshooting and investigation reports.
• Creating technical reports or improving company procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Training program includes familiarization with drilling practices, software analysis, and multiple visits to drilling rigs 5-15 days each.
• Perform analyses of drilling products.
• Conduct and assist in training and continuing education of coworkers.
• Participation in the invention, design, analysis, prototyping, manufacturing, shop testing, field testing of new products and improvements to existing products.
• Investigate any field failures, prepare reports, define product improvements.
• Effective and efficient communication within company and to customers and vendors.
• Build and sustain positive cooperative working relationships.
• Assist in maintaining and or writing QA/QC procedures.
• 80-90% of time is in office environment, and travel may be 10-20%, including internationally.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as 100 klb compression tests.
• Must be able to lift 50 lb.
• Must qualify to obtain a passport.
