Role: Senior XML Developer

Experience: 10+years, 10+ years of hands-on experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath and Schematron

Notice period: Immediate to 30days

Location: Dubai

The XML Developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, and coordination of eInvoicing data dictionaries and XML schemas, ensuring compliance with OpenPeppol standards and local regulations for eInvoicing project. The role requires an experience with electronic data interchange (EDI) systems. The developer will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient and compliant eInvoicing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Dictionary Management:

• Understand and maintain the eInvoicing data dictionary, ensuring it aligns with OpenPeppol specifications and local eInvoicing requirements.

• Collaborate with OpenPeppol to develop and refine the data dictionary, incorporating changes and updates as necessary.

• Version control and release management of the data dictionary in consultation with MoF and OpenPeppol

2. XML Schema Development: and AS4 protocol endpoint implementation

• Design and implement XML schemas for eInvoicing, ensuring they are compliant with the data dictionary and support efficient invoice processing.

• Validate and test XML schemas to ensure accuracy and functionality.

• Implement with OppenPeppol support local end point using AS4 protocol

3. OpenPeppol Coordination:

• Coordinate with OpenPeppol efforts to maintain and develop the data dictionary.

• Stay informed about updates to Peppol standards and implement necessary changes to internal systems.

4. Integration and Compliance:

• Work with stakeholders to integrate eInvoicing systems with the organization's infrastructure, ensuring seamless data exchange and compliance with local regulations.

• Manage XML-related aspects of the accreditation process for new Peppol Service Providers

5.Technical Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for eInvoicing XML schemas, data dictionaries, and related processes.

• Generate reports and documentation for management, outlining activities, tasks, and compliance metrics. 6.Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide expert technical support to internal teams and external partners regarding eInvoicing XML and data dictionary issues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to ensure uninterrupted eInvoicing data dictionary operations.

7. Training and Knowledge Sharing:

• Educate stakeholders on the technical aspects of eInvoicing, promoting best practices and efficient use of the data dictionary and XML schemas.

• Conduct workshops.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath and Schematron

• Knowledge of AS4 protocol • Experience with data dictionaries and EDI systems.

• Experience in interacting with various stakeholders groups across organizations.

• Prior experience with eInvoicing implementations is added value.
