We are currently seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our premium dining team with a specific focus on Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine dining, extensive experience in Italian culinary traditions, and a proven track record of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Sous Chef in all aspects of food preparation and service, with a focus on Italian dishes.
- Preparing and cooking high-quality Italian dishes according to menu specifications.
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Assisting in stock control, ordering supplies, and sourcing authentic Italian ingredients.
- Managing and training junior members of the team, especially in the preparation of Italian cuisine.
- Ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards, with a particular emphasis on traditional and contemporary Italian presentation.
- Collaborating with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service, especially during high-demand periods.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a premium dining establishment, with a focus on Italian cuisine.
- A passion for fine dining, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of Italian culinary traditions.
- A culinary degree or diploma, preferably with specialization in Italian cuisine.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
