The Production Senior Manager shall be responsible for goods and services are produced efficiently and ensure the correct amount is produced at the right cost and at the right level of quality.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
► Responsible to monitor the production process
► Develop and implement production tracking systems, and report to the operations head.
► Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
► Responsible to implement the QMS procedure (Quality Management System).Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
► Review processing schedules and production request orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments constraints and assure the timely product delivery to customers.
► Analyze alternative manufacturing strategies and run strategies (production sequence) to determine most cost efficient and effective production plans.
► Conduct capacity planning and provide input to manufacturing regarding anticipated machine or manpower capacity issues.
► Responsible to manage day-to-day running operations and productivity
► Responsible to execute production plan to meet customer orders and ensure production capacity meeting the organization’s current demands.
► Responsible to maintain appropriate conditions in production site includes temperature, moisture level, safe working environment, Health & Safety compliance and licensing regulations, liaison with relevant authorities.
► Plan and schedule all production activities, review job orders, maintain production quality and maintain quality documents and records
Supervisory
► Provide guidance and leadership to all employees to ensure effective and efficient flow of work, and ensure all employees recognize their fundamental role in the section.
► Ensure production unit functions successfully and meaningfully being delivered and are supporting the operations.
► Delegate responsibilities to appropriate subordinates to benefit from smooth running of the section’s operation.
► Monitor the adherence of section employees to the department’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
► Provide leadership and direction to the subordinates towards achievement of strategic departmental objectives.
► Provide manpower-training to improve production efficiency and ensure conformity with standard procedures and practices.
► Responsible for developing a culture which is target and performance oriented.
► Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
► Implement and drive continuous improvement.
