We're looking for a skilled Network Technician with his own visa to join our team and help maintain and improve our network systems.
Job Description:
As a Network Technician at Fajr Alsabah Information Technologies, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure that our network infrastructure is reliable, efficient, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and optimize for speed and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions promptly.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on network systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network improvements.
- Document network configurations and processes.
- Assist in the management of network security, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve connectivity issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with wireless network technologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency.
- UAE driving license with his own car
