We have an open role for Position Title - Accountant with a well-established Group in Bahrain.

Job Description:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and Bahraini regulations.
  • Assist the Group CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Monitor and manage the company’s financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other financial regulatory filings.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit administration as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in managing financial statements, ledgers, and budgets.
  • Knowledge of Bahraini financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate environments.
