We have an open role for Position Title - Accountant with a well-established Group in Bahrain.
Job Description:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and Bahraini regulations.
- Assist the Group CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash flow, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Monitor and manage the company’s financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other financial regulatory filings.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit administration as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in managing financial statements, ledgers, and budgets.
- Knowledge of Bahraini financial regulations and tax laws.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate environments.
