Job Title: Senior Business Development Engineer

Job Summary: The Senior Business Development Engineer will be responsible for driving the companys sales and business development efforts, with a primary focus on achieving a monthly sales target of AED 1.5 million. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the industry, strong technical knowledge, and a proven track record in sales and business development. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, customer-focused, and capable of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve a sales target of AED 1.5 million per month.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the companys customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.

2. Technical Expertise:

  • Utilize technical knowledge to understand customer requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to client specifications.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients.

3. Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to capture new business in targeted markets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to refine sales strategies and improve results.

4. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Engage with customers regularly to understand their evolving needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales.

5. Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales and business development staff.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on sales activities and market insights.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the [specific industry, e.g., automation, electromechanical systems, etc.] industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience managing large accounts and complex sales cycles.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Additional Information:

  • Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Salary: INR 80,000 - INR 1,00,000
