The role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the group’s overall business objectives, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. The HR Manager will also be responsible for driving talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the group’s business goals.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on HR-related matters.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making.
- Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Lead recruitment efforts for senior and executive positions across the group.
- Oversee the talent management process, including succession planning, career development, and leadership development programs.
- Implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment across all business units.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve job satisfaction and retention.
- Handle complex employee relations issues and provide guidance to HR teams within the group.
- Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring it is fair, consistent, and aligned with the group’s goals.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Learning & Development:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of learning and development programs across the group.
- Identify skills gaps and implement training initiatives to address them.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee the development and management of compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure that compensation structures are competitive and aligned with market trends.
- Compliance & HR Policy:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations across all jurisdictions in which the group operates.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices.
- HR Technology & Systems:
- Oversee the implementation and management of HR systems and technology.
- Ensure that HR data is accurate, secure, and accessible.
- Change Management:
- Lead HR-related change management initiatives across the group.
- Provide support to business units during organizational changes, mergers, or acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, PHR) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a large organization or group.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
