Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience in fabrication and will play a key role in producing high-quality products according to client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate metal and other materials.
- Use tools and machinery such as welding machines, grinders, saws, and presses to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Perform precision fabrication and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality.
- Measure and verify dimensions using measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Operate and maintain fabrication equipment and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Work collaboratively with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and suggest improvements when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of proven experience as a fabricator in metalwork or a related industry.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Expertise in welding, cutting, bending, and assembling various materials.
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to use fabrication tools and equipment effectively.
- Attention to detail and precision in fabrication work.
- Ability to work long hours (10 hours per day) in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
