Years of experience: 3-4 years of experience in interior design or a related field.
Project Site Location: Wakra
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Skills:
- Arabic Speaking
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D modeling software, etc.).
- Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation:
- Meet with clients to determine project requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Discuss the functionality, design aesthetics, and timeline of the project.
2. Design Development:
- Create initial design concepts through sketches, drawings, and 3D models.
- Develop detailed floor plans, layouts, and specifications.
- Select materials, furniture, lighting, color schemes, and finishes.
- Ensure that the designs align with the client’s needs, sustainability, and safety standards.
3. Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design execution.
- Oversee and manage the installation process of designs on-site.
- Ensure projects stay within budget and meet deadlines.
4. Material Selection and Procurement:
- Research, source, and select appropriate materials and furnishings.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product availability and pricing.
5. Budget and Time Management:
- Prepare cost estimates for clients and maintain the project within budget constraints.
- Monitor timelines to ensure that design elements are delivered and installed according to the project schedule.
6. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques.
