• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endocrinology Consultant to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine disorders, and will play a critical role in providing specialized care to patients with hormonal imbalances, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• - Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and metabolic bone diseases.
• - Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and laboratory tests, to accurately diagnose endocrine conditions.
• - Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and medical history.
• - Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with chronic endocrine conditions, including medication management, lifestyle counselling, and patient education.
• - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, nurses, dietitians, and other specialists, to ensure integrated and coordinated care for patients.
• - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in endocrinology research, treatments, and technologies through continuous medical education and professional development activities.
• - Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• - Medical degree from a recognized faculty of medicine
• - Board certification or equivalent in Endocrinology.
• - Valid license to practice medicine in Qatar is preferred.
• - Minimum of 10 years of post-residency experience in Endocrinology
• - Proven track record of excellence in patient care, clinical outcomes, and academic achievements
• - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage with patients.
