Purchasing Assistant
Sky Distribution is looking for a skilled Purchasing Assistant to join our team. If you have the necessary skills and experience in purchasing, especially in the food distribution industry, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and identify the best suppliers.
- Visit suppliers to negotiate and secure favorable deals.
- Assist in managing daily purchasing operations.
- Prepare and review purchase orders and agreements.
- Follow up on deliveries to ensure quality and timely supply.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure product availability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing within the food distribution industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet set targets.
- Proficiency in using computer programs (MS Office).
