Purchasing Assistant

Sky Distribution is looking for a skilled Purchasing Assistant to join our team. If you have the necessary skills and experience in purchasing, especially in the food distribution industry, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and identify the best suppliers.
  • Visit suppliers to negotiate and secure favorable deals.
  • Assist in managing daily purchasing operations.
  • Prepare and review purchase orders and agreements.
  • Follow up on deliveries to ensure quality and timely supply.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure product availability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing within the food distribution industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet set targets.
  • Proficiency in using computer programs (MS Office).
