A fantastic opportunity awaits you as a Services Planner, reporting to Global Customer Support within Kongsberg Maritime. As a Services Planner, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic Services Team, offering vital support to our business.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing aftermarket support for the propulsion and handling department, presenting an excellent opportunity to enhance technical competencies for our products. This role is for EMEA regional as wells as Middle East service engineer’s planner.


Responsibilities

  • Manage customer inquiries and plan the resources (Service engineers) in advance.
  • Understand the skill required for a scope and skills available in the FSEs to allot the resources properly.
  • Proactively offer field service to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with our technical support teams and service coordinator to address customer issues.
  • Engage in extensive customer communication and close cooperation with EMEA service planning team.
  • The SP will monitor inbox and handle all incoming service requests along with other global SPs in the region.
  • The SP owns and updates the global scheduling tool along with other global SPs in the region.
  • The SP arrange and owns the bi-weekly planning meeting in the CRA group along with other regional SPs.
  • The SP check for On Job Training opportunities in the incoming projects and advise region.


Work Instructions

  • Develop and deliver a plan to address engineer resource needs for KM projects
  • Collect information on KM projects from various sources: ERP, CRM, D365, local sales, and docking plans.
  • Update the Planning Tool with the latest information on projects, skill requirements, and FSE downtime.
  • Collaborate with both product centres, other regions, and all regional site managers regarding resources.


Qualifications and experience

  • A Bachelor's or technical degree is preferred.
  • Motivation for or experience in engineering, project coordination, or administration.
  • A technical/maritime interest and background are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in customer contact and sales.
