Asnani Steel Industries LLC is looking for a Light Vehicle Driver who is responsible for operating company vehicles to transport staff, deliver office supplies, and manage logistics requirements efficiently. The role involves ensuring safe and timely transportation, maintaining vehicle conditions, and supporting various office logistics tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Transportation:

- Safely drive company vehicles to transport employees between the office, production site, and other locations as required.

- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of staff, adhering to schedules and routes.

2. Office Logistics and Deliveries:

- Transport office supplies, documents, and equipment between company facilities and external locations.

- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials as needed.

- Coordinate with the office or logistics team to schedule and plan deliveries and pickups.

3. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:

- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues or required maintenance to the Logistics Team Leader.

- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained both inside and out.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.

4. Administrative Duties:

- Complete and maintain accurate logs and records of vehicle use, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents.

- Assist with administrative tasks related to vehicle management, including scheduling maintenance and renewals for permits and licenses.

5. Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure all necessary documentation for vehicle operation is up-to-date and available, including driver’s license, registration, and insurance.

- Follow company procedures and policies regarding vehicle use and transport.

6. Support and Communication:

- Communicate effectively with the logistics team, office staff, and management regarding transportation needs and schedules.

- Provide courteous and professional service to staff and external contacts.

Qualifications:

Valid light vehicle driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Minimum of 3 years working experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.

Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to handle basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.

Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Physical ability to load and unload items as required.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions:

The role may involve occasional overtime or extended hours depending on operational needs. The driver will primarily be working within a company vehicle but may also need to assist with tasks at different locations.
