Position: Kitchen Helper
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Support bakers and pastry chefs by organizing and setting up workstations.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, including cleaning work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
- Assist in unloading, storing, and organizing deliveries of raw materials.
- Help in packing and labeling bakery products for display or delivery.
- Follow health and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Baker or Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
