Job Description

We have an urgent requirement for IT Contract Specialist for one of the bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE

IT experience and a legal background, particularly in IT contract review and negotiation--Must

Contract Management:

Manage, lead and negotiate agreements with suppliers along with respective contract owners and Procurement and follow through to ensure adherence with contract management framework and to secure the most cost effective option Work with  Legal Counsel to manage contracts and agreements and with the Procurement team to align with supply chain systems, policies and procedures to ensure adequate contractual management and document control Manage issues with vendors through to resolution as and when they arise to ensure robust contract management practices within the unit Approve technology related contracts and purchase orders in line with Finance and Procurement policies in order to achieve set budget and agreed timescales.

Procurement Payment Process:

Monitor the administration process of local purchase orders (LPOs), contracts and invoicing to ensure effective management of contract payments.

Vendor Management:

Conduct vendor reviews and comparisons, identifying and reporting on vendor performance against the required service level agreements (SLAs), recommending actions to be taken in order to achieve greater levels of service delivery on procured products and services.

License Management:

Review all software license requests and related activities, reviewing license thresholds to ensure license optimisation, compliance and future license requirements are met based on business forecasts Guide the team in the preparation of necessary applications/documents for obtaining registrations, renewals, licenses, approvals to ensure they are in line with the required standards Source software vendors and oversee/manage external software license audits to ensure successful closure and compliance to License terms/Licensee obligations.

People Management:

Manage self and team in line with people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximise overall performance, engagement and motivation
