Due to growth and customer demand, CommScope is looking for an Data Center Business Development Manager to join our team to promote our Data Center Infrastructure portfolio. The ideal candidate will be based in UAE.

Imagine stepping into a dynamic sales role where your primary mission is to drive growth through direct prospecting, pipeline development, and engaging with key accounts in specific verticals and geographic territories. This isn’t just any sales job! It's a chance to define a significant impact in the IT, Telecommunications, and Data Center industries.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a wealth of experience selling data center solutions to top-level management and other key decision-makers. Your track record should speak volumes about your ability to develop territories and drive revenue. Ideally, you have at least five years of sales experience within a solutions sale’s environment, showcasing your expertise in navigating complex sales landscapes.

Your knowledge of setting up and selling through distribution and System Integration partners will be essential. Familiarity with the end users, system integrators and consultants in the Data Center industry in your territory will give you a significant edge. Additionally, a solid understanding of data center technologies, structured cabling, and optical fiber is essential. While a reasonable grasp of networking technology is helpful, your ability to demonstrate products to resellers and understand large channel organizations will set you apart.

In this role, you’ll not only be a sales expert but also a technical guide, capable of showcasing products and solutions to potential partners. Your blend of sales competence and technical know-how will be the key to your success, helping you build positive relationships and drive growth in this exciting and challenging field.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • At least 5 years of experience of solution and service-based sales experience within a network connectivity and/or data center environment required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of a process for managing a set of accounts, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short term, and long-term opportunity management.
  • Available to travel within the region (30%)

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • Data Center technologies and solutions knowledge
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel, SAP, and MS Dynamics or equivalent experience.
