Monitor and evaluate the performance of financial applications to ensure their adherence to central financial policies and laws.
Research new technologies and innovations that can be applied to improve financial management systems.
Study and analyze requests for modifications to financial systems and applications, including determining the nature of required changes and assessing their financial and technical impact.
Prepare a user guide for financial systems and applications and distribute it to relevant personnel in government entities.
Develop a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plan related to financial systems and applications, ensuring their readiness and effectiveness.
Ensure that all issues related to data migration from and to financial systems are properly addressed.
Review requests for creating new users and their proposed permissions, ensuring their appropriateness.
Review and update the detailed plan for portal development in coordination with partners and relevant entities.
Prepare periodic reports on all operations conducted in financial systems and submit them to the Financial Applications Department Manager.
Ensure that resource systems comply with all relevant standards and legal regulations.
Participate in preparing plans for the smart transformation of programs and projects related to the development and improvement of centralized financial systems for Ajman Government.
Provide technical advice to government departments on the optimal use of financial applications.
Organize and supervise the maintenance of applications and financial data to ensure their continuous operation.
Develop scenarios for data loss preparedness.
Review and audit recommendations and improvement initiatives related to the operations of financial systems for Ajman Government.
Review periodic reports on all operations conducted in financial systems, ensuring the appropriateness of recommendations.
Audit the electronic linkage between targeted entities, clarifying the technical and procedural steps necessary for system integration.
Responsibilities:
Provide support and advice to accomplish operational activities in line with the department’s performance metrics and objectives.
Contribute to identifying the department's strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities.
Assist in setting operational goals that align with the management’s operational objectives and the department’s strategic goals.
Determine the department's training needs based on its tasks, responsibilities, and performance metrics, ensuring ongoing training and development.
Participate in analyzing the department's operations to identify critical activities and develop a business continuity plan.
Help identify, analyze, and assess risks related to the department’s operations, and provide recommendations and proposals for risk mitigation; participate in implementing responses approved by the department manager.
Perform any other tasks assigned that fall within the scope of responsibility.
