We have long been established as a leading trader of industrial packaging materials to customers throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated sales professional, ideally with a strong understanding of the packaging industry and some relevant industry experience, to come and represent us. You will be an extension of our Sales Team and enjoy a varied field sales role. As a Sales professional in the packaging industry, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of packaging solutions to various market segments, including retail, manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer goods, and other business-to-business sectors. Our focus is to provide customers with fully integrated and innovative packaging solutions, augmented by outstanding customer service.
The Sales professional will be responsible for developing sales with new customers and existing clients across a variety of developed market sectors in the use of packaging for their businesses. Identify, build and nurture new customers who have demand for the company’s products. Achieving the set sales targets, maximize profitability and maintain strong business relationships with an established customer base by promoting, selling & securing orders through a relationship-based approach. This will dictate your success in meeting agreed commercial goals and targets. The role will be field based with regular visits to the office.
Field Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns and publicly available data. Identify the decision makers within client companies. Initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the company through sales presentations and pitches. Monitor customer accounts within your customer base to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
Planning and strategize: Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to drive industrial packaging sales, revenue growth, and market penetration. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences within the packaged goods industry to proactively adjust sales strategies and seize emerging opportunities. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to effectively position products or services.
Client Engagement: Reach out to potential customers and existing clients, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. To establish and maintain good working relationships with decision influencers to gain and service.
Sales Process Management: Handle the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring that all sales activities are accurately recorded and tracked.
Quote and order: Prepare quotations tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring competitive pricing and clear terms. Quotation tracking, negotiation an enforcing price increases according to specifications.
Customer Support: Address and resolve client queries and complaints promptly, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor. Maintain a solid relationship with key customers, ensure the satisfaction of customers by monitoring their inquiries and any other related customer issues. Adopt a consultative approach with clients in tailoring appropriate solutions to meet needs whilst developing/maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and full product range. Provide product or technical information by answering questions and requests.
CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) data to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on client interactions. Build and maintain relationships with clients to promote repeat business.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and activities to management, providing insights into sales performance and identifying areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer needs and prepare regular forecasts/sales report to enable effective forward planning. Monitor sales performance and analyze data.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company. Achieving the sales and Gross margin targets through proactive engagement of well-defined list of existing and new customers and providing required specification & onsite support, leading to closing the sale
Other essential responsibilities: Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge through self-development and training opportunities. Qualify customers’ creditworthiness. Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers. Coordinate with Accounts receivables management
Provide analytical support to evaluate potential price changes.

Requirements and skills
Do you have the correct profile?
We are keen to attract interest from experienced territory/client facing B2B sales professionals (ideally minimum of 2 years field based/client facing sales experience). You will be an effective negotiator, with the ability to actively build strong relationships via first class communication and influencing skills. You will enjoy genuinely ‘adding value’ to customers as your prior experience will already have seen you selling a solution.
Selling with integrity, you will be accustomed to delighting customers and be able to illustrate a recent track-record of success in meeting sales targets. Any prior sales experience gained within industrial packaging solutions as well as other similar distribution businesses (disposable food packaging, consumables, etc.) can also translate well.
What is most important however is that you have recent B2B field sales/customer facing experience, can demonstrate a record of impressive performance (must include some ‘new business acquisition success), are open to learning our business and sector and will be comfortable with a more technical solution-based sales approach. A fully valid Bahrain/GCC driving license is essential. You will also be using Tally Prime alongside the usual MS Office products, so computer literacy is important.
