Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Seafood Cook with experience in preparing a wide range of seafood dishes. The right candidate will know how to handle, prepare, and cook seafood using different methods like grilling, frying, and steaming. You will work closely with the kitchen team to make sure all seafood dishes are fresh, tasty, and well-presented.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Seafood Preparation: Clean and prepare seafood, including fish, shellfish, and other seafood items.
    Use different cooking methods such as grilling, frying, steaming, and baking.
    Ensure all dishes are cooked to the restaurant’s quality standards.
  2. Menu Support: Help the head chef with new seafood recipes and menu ideas.
    Suggest ways to improve the flavor and presentation of seafood dishes.
  3. Quality Control: Ensure all seafood is fresh and stored properly.
    Check for quality and taste before serving dishes to customers.
  4. Hygiene and Safety: Follow all food safety rules, especially when handling seafood.
    Keep the work area clean and organized.
  5. Teamwork: Work closely with other kitchen staff to make sure food is ready on time.
    Help train new team members in seafood preparation and cooking.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with seafood in a restaurant setting.
  • Familiar with seafood cooking methods like grilling, poaching, and frying.
