Order Fulfilment:
· Oversee the picking, packing, and dispatching processes to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders.
· Monitor performance and productivity metrics, such as Units Per Hour (UPH), orders processed, and error rates.
· Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all under-the-roof operations.
· Inventory Management:
· Manage stock levels, ensuring that items are correctly stored and efficiently accessible for picking.
· Collaborate with the inventory control team to conduct regular cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
Team Leadership:
· Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing training and guidance to improve performance and efficiency.
· Assist in picker calculations, shift planning, task allocation, and monitoring to ensure that staffing levels are adequate for workload demands.
Quality Control:
· Ensure accuracy in order fulfilment and conduct spot checks on packing quality.
· Implement corrective actions in cases of frequent errors or customer complaints.
Data Reporting:
· Monitor and report on key operational metrics, including pick rates, pack rates, dispatch times, and order accuracy.
· Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the eCommerce manager.
