Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Digital Airline Product Specialist with extensive experience in the airline industry. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in core airline systems, particularly in reservation, ticketing, e-commerce, fares, and scheduling. This role is essential for delivering key projects, enhancing our digital platforms, and supporting troubleshooting efforts related to these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery & Management:
- Lead and manage digital projects focusing on airline systems, including reservation, ticketing, e-commerce, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.

- Reservation and Ticketing Systems
- Revenue Management and Fare Systems (ATPCO)
- Scheduling and Interlining
- E-commerce and Distribution Systems
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- In-flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) Systems
- Departure Control Systems (DCS)
- E-commerce & Digital Platform Development:
- Drive the development and optimization of e-commerce platforms, enhancing user experience and sales conversion rates.
- Implement digital solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing airline systems, improving overall functionality and customer satisfaction.
- System Integration & Optimization:
- Develop and maintain integrations between core airline systems and digital platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
- Identify and implement improvements to digital systems, enhancing performance and aligning with business goals.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide expert support and troubleshooting for digital systems related to reservation, ticketing, e-commerce, fares, and scheduling.
- Conduct regular audits and system checks to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to deliver integrated digital solutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing insights and updates on project progress and system enhancements.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within commercial operations.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track success.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Prepare contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 10 - 12 years of experience in the airline industry, with a focus on digital systems and core airline functions.
- Proven expertise in reservation, ticketing, e-commerce, fares, and scheduling systems.
- Strong technical skills in system integration, API development, and digital platform management.
- Experience with airline systems like Sabre, Amadeus, and ATPCO.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 can be beneficial.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret financial reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Understanding of the airline industry, including commercial strategies, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
