Aptal group is a Dubai Managed bespoke Joinery and Fitout company based in JLT MARINA that is looking to expand its operations and is currently hiring for the below role:
We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer/ Design Assistant and Coordinator to join our Interior Fitout and Joinery, based in Dubai.

Requirements:
- Must have had a minimum 1 years experience in a reputed Design Agency or Interior Fit out company in the UAE with proven experience in handling Residential, Retail, Commercial School and Hospitality Projects.
- Should have a strong knowledge of all kinds of luxury finishes and must have strong contacts with all suppliers in the UAE for procurement of these materials
- Experience in creating Concept Designs, Style boards, Layouts, Schematic Designs, Visuals and Detail Design with in-depth knowledge of FF&E and luxury finishes.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design/ Architecture is a strong plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3DS MAX and other Design software's.
- Must be able to read and edit AutoCAD files.
- Must have successfully completed or supported execution of over 20 projects from start to finish in the UAE.
- Strong design and technical skills both in Fit out & Joinery Projects
- Must have excellent knowledge in FF&E and Finishes and excellent contacts with suppliers.
- Experienced with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Vary and other design software's
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
- To support the design dept through all stages of the design process, from concept phase to construction phase.
- To support preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, mood boards and construction documents.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams.
- To work with the Design Manager for Review and to approve shop drawings and submittals.
- To Attend Project meetings and provide input on Design issues, and make notes of client requests and requirements.
- Interact with client through the entire Design and Project execution phase.
