Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher - Primary to join a Private School based in United Arab Emirates.

The Private School is a British curriculum, part of Aldar Schools, offering mixed gender primary school located in a purpose-built educational facility, at Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi. The School was founded in 1999 by Her Highness Sheikha Shaikha Bint Saif Al Nahyan to provide exceptional education in Abu Dhabi.

The large majority of their students are Emiratis. Their school is deeply rooted in the values of the Emirati community, driven by the aspirations of parents, and guided by the requirements of their regulatory body, ADEK. Requirements:

Essential

  • Fluent, error free English language proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or another relevant field with a teaching qualification specialising in KS1 and KS2

Desirable

  • Experience working with Emirati students and/or students for whom English is an additional language
  • Understanding of and experience with data analysis, GL assessments and AfL
