Job Description

Main Tasks:

  • Onboard new vendors as per marketing requirements and market dynamics.
  • Negotiate prices for all items with different vendors.
  • Thorough vendor assessment to ensure they can meet our quality standards and delivery KPIs.
  • Conduct site visits for all vendors for quality audits and assess manufacturing capabilities.
  • Set KPIs to be met for Products – Delivery – Customer Handling with all vendors.
  • Gathering all inputs from customer care, operations, finance, sales, and Marketing teams and discuss all aspects with all vendors periodically and come out with business improvement plans for each vendor monthly / quarterly / yearly.
  • Get regular offers from different vendors and share with marketing teams for Flash Sale & campaigns.
  • Check market updates for all materials prices and monitor any variations and impacts on the relevant products.
  • Present all updates to Exec. Management periodically to conclude needed actions
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to develop effective pricing strategies for our products.
  • Conduct regular assessments of pricing data, sales performance, and market conditions to make informed pricing decisions.
  • Implement pricing models and algorithms to optimize pricing across various channels and product lines.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives and market positioning.
  • Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market trends, providing recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Generate and present reports on pricing performance, including profitability analysis and pricing impact assessments.
  • Maintain and update databases and systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility of pricing information.
  • Develop and implement pricing policies and guidelines to standardize pricing practices across the organization.
  • Address all inquiries related to pricing and provide support in negotiations as necessary.
  • Monitor mismatching products on the website.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the same role, specifically within the furniture industry.
  • Strong organizational and strategic planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a strong history of achieving cost reductions and enhancing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities, with a proficiency in interpreting and leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location: Maadi.
