Job Description

As a HSE Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the health, safety and environmental regulations within the workplace.


The role involves implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to prevent workplace injuries and maintain environment standards.


Primary Responsibilities - Business Responsibility Areas:


1. Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local and/or international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks in facilities, equipment, and work processes.
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures across the organization.

2. Incident Investigation:

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • Ensure all personnel are informed about potential hazards and proper safety measures.
  • Foster a culture of safety and awareness among employees and contractors.

3. Risk Management

  • Identify potential workplace hazards and suggest mitigative measures.
  • Update and maintain risk registers and safety protocols in line with current regulations.

4. Environmental Protection

  • Stay updated on the latest Environment, Health, and Safety regulations in the UAE.
  • Implement environmental management policies to ensure the company minimizes it ecological impact.
  • Monitor waste disposal, pollution control, and sustainability practices.

5. Emergency Preparedness

  • Establish robust emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to enhance preparedness.

6. Documentation and reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date records of safety incidents, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics.
  • Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies regarding HSE performance.
