Job Description
· Certifications: Relevant certifications in hydrostatic testing, QA/QC, or related area are essential.
- Strong knowledge of hydrostatic testing procedures, standards, and regulations as per API 598, API 6D.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Must have experience in the same field of OIL & GAS / PETROCHEMICAL Industry.
- Tests Valves, fittings, pipes, and similar objects to detect and locate leaks by performing the hydrotesting.
- Installs fittings on object to seal outlets and connects object to high pressure air or water line.
- Can Activates air compressor or water pump until gauge registers specified internal pressure.
- Verifying materials with MTC’s & maintaining those MTC’s in records for future reference.
- Coordinating with Sales Team for production orders, getting material machined and completing production orders in system as per requirement.
- Getting all equipment calibrated used in Warehouse and maintain all the records of those calibration certificates & providing to auditors whenever required.
- Issuing OSND against PO, if applicable & follow up with concern buyer to get that OSND resolved & closed after proper coordination.
- Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Destructive Testing (DT) by following the standard procedures as followed and performed by industry norms.
- Opening the valves & analysing it’s parts to be changed & whenever required changing it as well through automation process.
- Coordinating with TPI Inspectors & getting the inspection done as per given timeline & schedule.
- Going for inspection of materials to vendor’s or customer’s place from time to time whenever required.
- Coordination for all special requirements for the customers other than standard procedures followed by the company.
